No popping issues on my 2014 when I installed Staintune's.

Man this thread makes me feel good about the Staintune mufflers I purchased back in 2006 for my 05 FJR. I thought they were high priced back then at $795. That same set of pipes have served me well on that 05 then a 08 and now on a 2014 FJR. Way over 100,000 miles and they still sound and look...

Anyone put a gen 2 or 3 on a dyno to see if there is any performance advantage with slip on's. I dyno tuned my 05 FJR with the Staintune's & power commander and the difference was only 4 HP. I didn't do anything with tuning on my 08 when I installed the same set of Staintune's and it ran fine...

Leo Vinci makes fine pipes. I have one on my 2013 Honda VFR 1200F.

Anyone use the LD35 lights on Dave's brackets? They are listed at 3.25" diameter vs. the LR4 lights which are listed at 2.125" diameter. I have used the same set of Staintune mufflers on my 05, 08 & 2014 FJR's. All stainless construction and no straps, they mount the same as stock.

No problems at 6 foot 3 and 230 with 34" inseam. I have used the same sargent seat on both my 08 & 14 FJR's. MY first FJR an 05 I used the stock seat. No real problems with the stock seat but I like the Sargent more for long days. A Laminar Lip also helps with turbulence over the stock...

They gave me $8,400 for the bike 18 months ago. I don't want to buy it back, I was just wondering if it was a fair price for a 08 FJR that is cosmetically like new. .
