    Much loved (with mileage!) 2008 FJR1300ABS farkled! 85k $4400

I'm selling my well-loved and often-used FJR. It's been ridden through the western US and southwestern Canada for 88k miles. Seattle area. Asking $4900. Two summers ago, literally with a week's notice and no special prep work, I did one trip to northern California, another one to San Diego and...

Wow, Jim. Fantastic ride, done by a super guy. The IBA and IBR are well represented by that multi-time winner.

2013 Iron Butt Rally - The Inside View

    1) PUBLIC Spotwalla tracking isn't required. Mike Kneebone mailed out the Spotwalla link and described it as "riders that opted in to be tracked during the 2013 IBR.." Some riders don't want to be publicly tracked, even with obfuscated IDs. Some possible reasons for this include insurance...

The shortest, most adventurous ride of the year

I'm sure this is the unasked question on everybody's mind: PR3's. They suck in the snow Probably if the FJR was wearing Anakees or K60s or something, I'd have been able to get up the rest of the hill

The shortest, most adventurous ride of the year

Naw, that's Sno Ridge Parkway Tiger definitely scares me. I used to commute to work in Covington so I did Tiger twice daily, but had a Jeep Wrangler to commute in most days then. And a Harley, but the Jeep got a lot of commute time.

The shortest, most adventurous ride of the year

I commute year round from my home in the foothills east of Seattle to my day-job just south of downtown at a small coffee megalopolis. My home's only about 800 feet above sea level, but we have just enough elevation that winter can be entertaining from time to time. This year, while there were...

    2008 FJR 1300?

I have an 08 with 69k miles on it (bought it last July and have 17k more on it). Other than the above suggestions that you look for dry and cracked rubber bits, the only problem I have with mine is that I have to keep putting gas in it, and occasionally wash off the grime. It's a great bike.
