i have an 07 and same thing, front noise when i hit a bump and can not find the source.

If i was living in FL, i would leave the side closed all the time cause you guys living the summer all year round (lucky you), but here in northern country we some times have snow (lots of that s....t)but we manage to enjoy the cold by opening the side flaps and ride with friends and drink...

Well this backrest pass the test this weekend, we did 500 km and she loves it, now i think i am gone sell my Yamaha topcase.

Hey WW if you find a web page that shows a small LED in diameter let me know, i dont know much about LED stuff. Is that your bike with the Yamaha stickers on the rear of the side bags ? where did you get those stickers? Rob

ya i am real happy with it, the quality of leather and paint is superbe. And i like the FJR in the back, i am gone remove the pad and put a glowing sticker beetwen the pad and the support so the letters will come out cool at night..

i just received my new backrest today and hope my wife likes it cause i have the yamaha top case and she finds that the position is to forward and after awhile she get tired, so i will keep you posted on a trial run some pic of it made by custom world here in montreal for 200.00 can $$

I looked at about all the different options and finally installed the Heli bar and my back likes it. I know it's costly but 1 1/2 inch back on the handlebar and 2 hours of work, well for me i like it.

yap i use the center stand now, last year i must have put the side stand not complitely to the end and the bike fell on the side by itself during warm up, well many hundred bucks later, i use the center stand now. hey i can imagine you jumping all over the place after finding the problem with...

I dropped my 2007 last year :angry: and scratched up the mirror pretty bad and went to my dealer and ordered a left mirror and cost me 85.00$ and got it the day after matching color, i was really impressed. Now my question is do you know the price for a mirror in the US cause i dont think...
