    EOM 2014 - Maggie Valley - 26-28 Sept 2014

First shot as it the routes wouldn't load. Upon investigating the files were all 1k and empty. I went back to the website and redownloaded them. Worked fine, viewed them in Garmin Basecamp and transferred them to my GPS. All is good. Appreciate the help Wayne, et al.

Actually, when I used Chrome the files saved as .GPX, when I used IE they saved as .XML I'll load them up tonight and see what happens

It does, Allen_C, and the file extension is XML not GPX.

If I view or d/l the file it comes in as an XML file. I haven't tried renaming it to GPX and copying to my GPS, but plan to this weekend.

    Electrical/Garmin Problem

I have been using a 10 or so year old Quest that I just retired. I looked at the Zumos and Streetpilots but went with the Nuvi 2797LMT so I could use it in the car or on the bike (I bought a few mounting & rain-cover options to see which works best). After registering it I realized I should...

    Saddlebag lock screws

Does anyone know of a part number, size or place to order the security Torx scres that hold the locking mechanism for the saddlebags onto the lock cylinder? Thanks! Joe P.

    FJR 04 Rear Brake Rotor

The 6mm was actually slightly loose. I'll try heating them and will replace the bolts that I have already partially rounded. I'm the only owner, so unless the dealer when servicing the bike messed with them, they haven't been messed with. Thanks for the reply!

    FJR 04 Rear Brake Rotor

Does anyone know what type of socket is required to remove the rear brake rotor? A 6mm hex is too small, the 7mm hex is too large, a T-40 Torx is too small and a T-45 too large. SAE hex's are a worse fit than metric. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer! Joe Prentiss 757-497-3944

    Pumpkining my '05

My 04 FJR at 25 mph speedo is 24 mph GPS, 50 mph speedo is 51 mph GPS, 75 mph speedo is 73 mph GPS and 100 mph speedo is 98 mph GPS. This was at 17k miles on the bike, new Metzeler Z6's front and rear.
