Might want to rethink that logic. It is true it will take longer to warm up, but with no thermostat the coolant will not stay in the radiator long enough to cool it down. In my teeage know it all days I did this once in a car and it over heated real bad. It took a while to get to that point...

They work on mine. I found that when I stopped quick in the garage. The front brake pulsated and did not lock until I was stopped. Was not going that fast either. The floor is slippery. M

I am with you. I do not see the cost benefit when you figure in the cost of tools and your time.

Does everyone on here use Yamalube? Is there a less expensive solution? I was thinking of using Castrol GTX 20W50. I did a search for oil. Did not find anything on this forum. Thanks, Mike
