Marine motorcycle deaths top their Iraq combat fatalities

I know that for many military people that have just come back from combat situations, once you get home you don't have the adrenaline rush that you used to get while out on missions. Riding a bike a bit too quick, or just flat out pushing the envelope into the "danger zone" is one way to easily...

    Speed Control Danish Style

Probably, but people without thermometers in/on their vehicles wouldn't have any trouble telling when it was cold outside. :D G26

    Great Pilot!

Seems that the remaining wing is somewhat translucent at times. I don't think real aircraft have translucent wings. G26

    Please help: numb right hand...

Right off the bat, let me say that I don't own an FJR, yet... That being said, all of the points mentioned above are valid. Some things to look at... Are you a tense rider, or do you ride relaxed? This goes for the hands (as mentioned earlier) as well as your shoulders, jaw, back... You may...

    2008 LOE 1000

I did the LOE this year too. I was on a Silver 2006 VTX 1800. I think two words pretty much sum up my experience: Rain, Shiprock. That said, I enjoyed the hell out of the ride. I am also a newb to rallies. While my VTX was very comfortable, the main drawback was the small (5.2 gal small?)...

    Zumo 450/550 Owners

I also use my 550 both on my bike and in my car. I find it easy to use, especially on the bike. Music quality is good, though you can't send XM radio over bluetooth to a helmet headset - at least I haven't found a way. I end up with a wire from the Zumo to my helmet that carries phone, XM...
