I have a 03 with 170+k miles and it runs great, but there is a 2014 with 21k that is set up nice. So I was curious being you can’t go wrong with the FJR, was there a year that was liked over the other. That said, Ive been a first gen lover. And I had and miss my pristine 05, my 03 is great .

Through the years of having the FJR 1300 and owning them, was there a year or model that stand out as the best?

Who makes a good FZ1 style mirror of a FJR? I had a set of aftermarket mirrors that was not the best of quality for several years, now one has a threaded mount that has broken off and I would like to find a new set.

Can a 2003 FJR have spider problems?

Yes. my bike's engine spins and the fuel pump comes on, but it want start. I've never had it flood beings it's fuel injected and i don't give it gas till it starts, but I'll check the plugs. Thanks

I'm looking to get a seat that made for my 97 Honda Blackbird that would firm it up and widen it for longer distance comfort. I just don't want a RDL design because I want to be able to ride in a sporty way sometimes.  Is there a place that can make the stock seat better? 

I've been using "Freeze Busters" for the past few years during the winter months, and really like the way they shield my hand from the cold and rain. They are easy to install and take off.

Has anyone replaced light bulbs in the gauges? I have one or two bulbs out in the speedometer of my 03 and wondered if theres a way to replace them.

Ludwig61, I was wondering about the Shori, I know they are pricy but they are light and pack a good amount of cranking amps.

RossKean, That reminds me of something. I heard that Japan Yausa uses fresh metals in there batteries where the US uses recycled metal. Japan's last longer.

Ive always had good luck with OEM batterys, I was just wondering if there was a brand that was better out there. Thanks for the input.
