Just about to mount the first set of the Storm 2 Ultras on an 04 with Ohlins. I think I'll try the higher pressures, and see if the traction/mileage on the goat roads seems any different. I always figured it was the gnarly surfaces I ride, chip-n-seal and potholed/patched backroads that wasted...

Thank God for long arms...sold the risers a week after getting the bike. I like to be over the front end and the risers placed me too far back on the bike...I didn't have the same feel in the twisties, so the best risers are None...

I usually pull the tire and apply a standard vulcanizing patch. I had a nail in a new tire a year or two back. I patched it and ran the tire to it's natural life expectancy (5K for me) with no air loss...a plug will get me home, but I don't like to trust half of my tires to them...I have patched...
