    Adding coolant

Take care when replacing the cap. It's a plug type cap with a seal around the outside as well. It's very easy to crimp that outside seal on the back side where you can't see it and have a coolant leak develop there.

    CoverMax covers

I have the large which is specified for sport touring bikes. It's tight but fits well. If you have a top case, I don't think it will fit.

Windscreens again...I got to do it

I am 6'-6" tall and my '07 came with a V-stream from the previous owner. I have to get down to the crotch rocket position with the windshield all the way up in order to get away from the noise. I just ordered the large Cee Bailey and will report on that when I get it installed.

Oil drain plug + washer won't seal

I appreciate the input guys. I think I will purchase a copper washer and use that in conjunction with the crush washer and see if that works. If not, a helicoil will be the way to go it seems.

Oil drain plug + washer won't seal

I took delivery of my 2007 FJR with 20k miles this week. I immediately changed the oil. When I removed the drain plug, I noticed the crushable part of the washer was threaded into the threads of the drain plug. Someone way over-torqued it. I replaced the crush washer, oil and filter. Well...
