I have a 2004 FJR that had an existing Throttlemeister cruise control installed by the original owner. Now after locking at speed the throttle slowly resets itself back to idol when my hand is off. I no not have a manual or ever worked on them before. How do I retighten it?

Can saddle bags be split in two from the inter and outer shells and be reused as donors? I know they are pop riveted on but I am not sure if the cases are glued together.
