2005' Just topped 167,000 changing engine out for one with 6000 :) Current Engine runs ok but a bit weak on power mid range. Gas mileage is not too bad. Everything else is perfect on it. Will update after engine swap.

Missed a couple of things.. actually did 2 valve inspections...... Radiator is hammered from all the road crap masshed into it. just a matter of time before it goes. Spark plugs are a quick change... some have been cleaned and reused but not more than 8k on them... I also removed the header...

I have had one on my FJR from day one and just turned 68K. Very easy instal. I put the photo sensor cut off behind the ignition (key) and zip tied it to the wires that come from the left side of the handlebar. That is a perfect spot. It is bellow the panel and will cut off sooner in low...

Stick with the full face helmet... I had a problem more with noise on mine but has a slapping type sound.. So I pooped in some ear plugs and that helped but also put a laminar lip on to help with wind flow over the helmet not only at high speed but slow speed as well.. I use a dainese full...

My bad..... never actually read the owners manual... But it makes sense with the angle of the pipes.. I have washed mine many times and never thought of what could happen with too much water in them.. will think next time i wash it though ......
