In this old post a couple people mention smaller screens. I've considered cutting 3" off my stock screen but if there are aftermarket small screens I'd rather do that. Suggestions?

I went for a short ride yesterday and did notice the clutch slip slightly once or twice from a dead stop. It was more of a single stutter which it never did before. Guess its time to drain it and refill with 10w-40.

I have a 2010 FJR... the owner's manual says to use 20W-50 or 20W-40 depending on temperature. The dealer says that it outdated and to use 10W-40 as it is a newer spec for our engine. I just changed my oil, but all the local shop had was 10W-30 in stock. Is there a danger to using this on...

Is the paint on the engine side cover powder coat or regular paint? When I bought the bike it had a lot of pits on the front of the stator cover and was thinking about re-finishing next time I drain the oil. Thanks

Thanks for all the posts. I went to my local CycleGear store and they had a sale (isn't there always a sale?) on 2 Amp USB connector with a pigtail that I an just plug into my existing one on the battery. Tomorrow I hope to get it all mounted.

I have a 2010 F JR and set up the suspension like a guy I know my size. The "preload"or suspension height in front is set to the second ring from the top. The black caps on top are set to six clicks from all the way screwed in and the ones at the bottom of the forks are eight clicks backed out...

Fixed!! It wasn't clean enough. I had to use a scotchbrite pad and basically polish the metal and edges. I did all this with the power on so I could keep testing. Funny thing is all this seems to have reset my odometer to 66 miles. ???
