What did you do to your FJR today?

Last night, I went over all of the details of the bike with it's new owner, then watched as they rode away together. I had a great time with the FJR, but it was time to move on. I may be back on one in the future. For now, I will enjoy the new Tracer 900!

    Mileage Maniacs

Thanks for posting this. I joined the ride for fun. It's been too long since I've participated in a charity ride challenge like this. I don't anticipate getting super high mileage, but that's OK with me.

    lights

I have a set of Vision X Optimus 10* spot lights. They were mounted on the mirrors and lit up the road super well. They aren't cheap, but not expensive either. They are about $180-200 for the pair. You can also get filters to spread the beam on one of them to get both distance and peripheral...

SOLD 2007 FJR 1300A with Cruise! - SLC

Thanks! It really is awesome. I just put one on the new Tracer I picked up (I didn't want the GT for a few reasons). The product is excellent, and the support from Tony there at MC Cruise is phenomenal.

SOLD 2007 FJR 1300A with Cruise! - SLC

Bump! Still for sale. Heated gear and grips, a big windscreen, and handguards make a winter ride much better 😎

SOLD 2007 FJR 1300A with Cruise! - SLC

SOLD Well, I ended up buying a new bike, and the FJR needs to move on for someone else's enjoyment.  62,3xx miles and growing. All maintenance is up to date, including a recent valve adjust, coolant flush, and TBS. Tires have about 2k miles left in them.  Extras include: MC Cruise control -...

Gen II Front Fork Oil Seal Removal

You can also use a length of 1 1/4" square tubing (also from Home Depot). It just fits in the inside diameter of the fork tube, and it grabs 4 of the six sides of the nut just right. I don't have a welder (nor know how to use one, yet), so I needed to find another option.

SOLD Gen II Accessories (MV Riser, RAM Bone, Bag guards)

Sorry for the delay. I let my honey-do list get in the way of more important motorcycle things 😂 PMs replied to and pictures posted. I still need to remove the shock from the bike to get pics, so those will come later this week.

    Android Auto for Motorcycles Please

Lots of GPS apps download the map data to the phone, and the GPS chip does not require cell signal to work. I have been using a Samsung tablet that is Wi-Fi only (no cell chip) as a dedicated GPS for 3 years now. It works pretty well, but isn't weather resistant. I am moving to one of my old...

    Dash Cam reccomendations?

I have heard good things about the Innovv K2. I have a Halocam M1 that I've been pretty happy with. I had an issue with the DVR dying, and they replaced it. Good customer support for a China-based company. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

    2020 FJR1300

It looks like a GT350H with that gold stripe down the middle. Too bad we won't get that combo in the US.

    TSA and Motorcycle Gear

I have taken a heated jacket through TSA. Not an MC specific one, it is a battery-powered down jacket. I put it through with my carry-on stuff, and there was no problem. Our son's baby formula on the other hand...
