Whats the procedure after tip over?

Yea, as stated I took some dash panels off and the support for the mirror looks to be good. Its different than the one in your link that is on a 2016 model. The one on my '06 is a square tubular design and feels strong and doesn't have any cracks that I can see from removing both dash panels...

Whats the procedure after tip over?

Well, It finally happened. I was in a rush, put it on the side stand, ran inside real quick and when I came out 5 min later the '06 FJR was on its side. Broke the mirror clean off scratched the upper faring and passenger foot peg as well as the exhaust can and the clutch lever. Thankfully the...

    White screw- throttle body synchronization

Please do let us know how things turn out. I too watched that video and int the comment section Dave states that the reference screw should not be touched because it is calibrated to the ECU and the procedure to re calibrate is complex. I'd like to know if, in fact, this is not the case. Hope...

    Hourly rates at dealer

Here in Northern California, Joe at Redbike Service in Roseville CA is the only tech that I trust with my FJR for the deep services that I am not comfortable performing. Worth every penny of 95 per hour as far as I'm concerned.

    Foggy spot on windshield removal?

Hello all, Looking at a used windshield. Like new but has a small blemish that looks like a rub mark. A light foggy spot likely caused by a box it resided in during shipping. Not a scratch but a small hazy spot the size of a dime. Can this be polished/buffed out? What did you use?? Or...

    WANTED 06 front fork reflectors

If anyone has a set laying around I'd like to replace the missing reflectors on my 06. I know a lot of folks don't put them back on, for whatever reason, after doing brake work or tire replacement. If that's you, let me know. I have been looking on the auction site, with no luck, for some time...

Valve check... Should I leave well enough alone or dig in

Definitely agree with that and am so thankful that none needed adjustment. It sure is nice to know where they're at and to be able to plan for the next time

Valve check... Should I leave well enough alone or dig in

All is well! 37482 miles, first check, all within spec. New CCT installed, new plugs and TBS. Valve cover with new gasket slipped right into place first try with the coolant hose to thermostat pipe removed and throttle cables disconnected at the bar end and rotated rearward 180. I'm hoping that...

    Block off plate work around

Plates arrived today! Ordered Wednesday, shipped from the left coast on Thursday, delivered to the right coast on Saturday. These are really nice! Machined from hefty solid blocks of brushed aluminum unlike the cheap cast looking plates as seen on the auction site, for about the same $$. Fit...

Valve check... Should I leave well enough alone or dig in

Well, thanks to all of the encouragement I'm well on my way to my valve check. I was very intimidated by it all at first but have found the work to be very enjoyable and therapeutic. I have removed the plastics, the tank, removed and plugged the pair system, and am working on cleaning things up...
