I am pro earplugs but never really got comfortable with them. Got ear pain after 60-90 mins ride. Tried few foam kinds. Maybe some other high end will help but before that I got the biggest barn door Rifle windshield. It is +5 "inches on top and +4" on sides (+2" each side)...

Is it possible to support with jack stands below the bag protectors? similar to these ones? with front wheel still on the ground.

I am planning the use the same method. Here is the link to the lift I think you mentioned. If I have this, I shouldn't need anything else, correct? Put bike on center stand, jackup with the lift, secure with straps to the lift, and center stand would automatically flip back once lift raises...
