Only thing I laughed at in the instructions was the estimated time, 1.5 hours. Seemed to be good instructions to me but they do assume a level of mechanical knowledge. Service manual is helpful also.

Yamaha's dealer meeting which is within the next 2 weeks will confirm any changes for the 09's. IMO no 6 speed till 2011 as they seem to be on a 5 year cycle. Last "major changes" were with the 06 model. Color change will be essentially it.

It works the same as on the FZ1. O2 sensor connected will override any PCIII map, disconnect it & your new map works without throwing any codes. Ride more, worry less.
