I have a front wheel off of my 2010 FJR1300A. It was on my bike when I bought it last fall. I had new tires put on this spring and the installer pointed out a small "taco" or bent flange probably due to a pot hole encounter. The bead also has a little flat spot corresponding to the flared flange. I didn't notice it when I bought the bike from a private party. The tire still held air and I rode it on a 3000 mile trip to the BMW rally in Virginia in June, no issues. I couldn't find anyone locally that could straighten/repair the rim, so I found a replacement rim on Ebay. If no one's interested, I just might make a garage clock out of it! Make
