Okay, just got back from a 25 minute ride with the wifey, so here is *ahem* my seat of the pants quick observation. First of all my specs: 5'7" during low gravitational pull, 180lb, 30 inch inseam. When you order your seat, they will ask you for your "true" weight, so don't fluff it up! 1. No more push to the tank! 2. Slightly lower than stock. I'm not sure if its a combination of the reshaped front portion or the flattened middle section that allows me to get to the ground easier ("yay"). I think it would be equivalent to maybe 0.5" or 15mm difference. I think the main difference is less leg splay. 3. The rear portion of the seat cups your buns and is wider than stock Definitely feels great. Haven't measured it though. 4. Less push to the tank equals less wrist/hand pressure to the bars. 5. Feels like I'm lengthened out a tad more in upper torso due to the flattening of the seat. 6. I know that the seat will settle in or break in like the other 2 Seatconcepts seats I've owned. It usually takes about 1000km from previous experience. That's it for now. I can respond more, once I get more seat time. cheers Rod
