I missed Coffinwood and the Dirty Laundry, but I'll say this for Pahrump: Kudos to J Mar Customs, a little independent m/c shop in town. Blew a tire just outside Death Valley a couple weeks back--about 2:30 on Saturday afternoon. Long, ugly day, waiting in the wind for a tow truck (from Pahrump, a two hour plus drive away). I was able to arrange for a new front tire by cell phone (and thanks again to the guy whose phone actually worked out there--Phil ("WeLoveBikn") and his wife Charlene. Waited with me the whole long time. By the time the truck got me back to Pahrump, it was dark--the guys at J Mar (owner and his buddy) hung there waiting for me and had the only FJR front tire in Pahrump (and I called two Yama shops) mounted in darn good time. Good guys, too. I could have spent a real long weekend in Pahrump otherwise. Appreciated. A lot.
