I received my new Corbin for my 2013 yesterday. Mine has the shark skin finish on the leather seating area. This is my 6th Corbin seat so I know they require a break in period and are made of very firm materials. Initial impressions were good. It fit well and did not alter the seating height to any noticeable degree. I always ran the stock seat in the low position. The seat does have a wider more tractor like seating surface to spread the load, but is not overly large as the Russell and some others appear to me. I rode it for about 50 miles last evening and realized that when I got home I had not thought about the seat once during the ride. Hardly a meaningful test, but we headout on a 5000+ mile ride on Sunday, so I should have it broken in when we get back. Have not had any indications of it affecting my... package.
