I didn't make it there this year, but one year when my Dad and I were riding around Wisconsin, we stumbled upon a non discript little restaurant in Coon Valley. We were actually looking for a rib joint that had gone belly up. Starving, we went down the road and stopped at what, from the outside, looked like a hole in the wall place to eat. Inside, the tables had cloth linens, the wait staff well dressed and the food first rate. In previous CFO Rallys I've been back and not been disappointed. It's a place called DiSciascio’s, on the right as you enter Coon Valley from La Crosse. This year, I was too much of a light weight to ride up there in the rain when I got to the hotel. Not the cheapest place around, but I felt a decent value for great Italian food. Just my two cents worth for anyone who happens to be in the area or around for CFO 2012. :Snorkle: :bike:
