Absolutely!!! We old motocross racers know way too much about cleaning mud off a bike. :( Simple Green in a 50/50 mix with water. Spray it on, let it stand for 1-2 minutes, then hose it off or better yet, use a moderate pressure washer (electric or lower pressure nozzle). Suzuki Bike Wash is the absolute best stuff, but way more expensive. WD-40 and a rag works wonders on aluminum/engine parts. Takes the red dirt stains away with ease. Funny, I was JUST moments ago having a phone conversation with someone about the expectations coming off of previous EOMs like LewisburgWV and JohnsonCityTN, versus what I was able to do with Cumberland Falls KY. Jim Meadows was a huge asset for LewisburgWV. Working with him, I came to know the area nearly as well as he does as a life-long resident. Of course, JohnsonCityTN is on the northwest corner of the backyard where I grew up. Kentucky was new territory for me, and due to several family illnesses, one bike accident, and the general state of economy, all I could manage was one quick visit to scope out some routes. The lack of a local resource was definitely noticeable.
