Message: <blockquote data-quote="ionbeam" data-source="post: 151215" data-attributes="member: 277">I have the heated grip kit that Novaflyer has shown.  My grip kit came from a Honda dealer where it's listed as a Goldwing part.  Turns out that I paid $62, not $65, NH has no tax.  I ordered the part at 3:00 pm on Monday afternoon and had the grips in hand 11:00 am Tuesday.  Any dealer with a Service Parts catalog will either have the kit in stock or can they can order it.The grips are hard, just slightly softer than the Yamaha heated grips and they are slightly bigger than the stock Yamaha grips and much bigger than the Yamaha heated grips.  If you want soft grips you are going to have to go the Dual Star way.The connectors are different than the Yamaha kit and the wires are loooooooong.  Snip, solder, shrink sleeve, voila.  The heat controller looks like it would mount directly to the Yamaha bracket that goes on the left side mirror post -- two screws.Edited to add: This is on a '04, controller location on a '06 can be different.</blockquote>
