That's what cured my issues and it's been working flawlessly since. Mine does about the same thing PJ describes, it surges briefly when setting it, then it settles in and holds the speed rock steady in all environments. If you have the bar mounted wired switch, it needs to be set to open contact (off).</p></blockquote><p></p>
