Gen II Pivot Bolt Torque Specs

Good Day,

What are the torque specs for the three pivot bolts, 2 two on the dogbones and 1 between the center stand.

Item 21 and 27 in the microfiche

Item 21 is 35 ft-lb, item 27 is 29 ft-lb according to the factory service manual.

Good-n-tight is my method. A tip of the hat to you guys that have the patience to mess around under there with a torque wrench in hand. I have a hard enough time with the 3 or 4 wrenches I need to get the center stand off and back on.

Gutentite is probably gutenuff, but you can use an extension on a torque wrench, as long as you keep it centered. I use a breaker bar with another socket on the other end of the bolts. If you have another person handy, (handy person?), they could hold the other wrench.
