For anyone that will be in the Las Vegas area on April 12th, we welcome you to join us on a ride to Death Valley. We are riding in memory of Lee Johnson (lgjohn) who passed away on January 31st while riding to Death Valley.
I hope some you can make it. PM or reply with any questions. Here are the details:
Date:April 12, 2009 Lee’s Birthday!!!
Time: 10 AM
Meeting place: Lowe’s parking lot at Washington and Buffalo, right off Summerlin parkway.
Drive to Jubilee Pass, about an hour and half ride from Vegas to Death Valley via Pahrump and Shoshone.
Drive past the pass 6.3 miles on Badwater Road, stop at Ashford Mills Ruins for lunch
Bring your own food, drink bbq items etc.
For the Bikers, they can bring coolers and food to put in vehicles for transporting if needed.
A patch has been made to give everyone who participates in honor of Lee!
