While I have only met a few Forum members, I really appreciate this forum for the wealth of knowledge and the members of it. I recently took off a Saturday for the Moonshine Lunch Run. This was my fourth time attending and really enjoy the ride, the food and the thousands of friends that attend. Today the owners son said I can't go next year. "Too busy" I can't help but think that 50 weeks advance notice would be enough. After all, I did stay over on a Saturday for 5 hours to install a snowplow for a commercial customer. I did start on the owners zero turn 20 minutes before closing. And the list goes on..... If I get canned for going, so be it. I can change jobs with a phone call. Maybe I can make a Dr's appointment in Casey, Illinois that Saturday. A doctors note would be hilarious. Thought about calling in with a Viagra overdose, "can't come in today, too embarrassing" Downright un-American to try to prohibit a rider from a much looked forward to ride. I'm gonna outsmart this moron. Any ideas?
