I used to be a docent at the Hiller Aviation museum out in the Bay Area (San Carlos, CA) and we had a JN-4D Jenny on display. It had been rebuilt (all the wood spars, ribs, etc) and was ready for re-covering, so it was 'naked'. That was my favorite bird in the place. That craftsmanship in the woodworking was on display for all to see, and you could get up close under the wings and see how it all fit together, how the control cables ran, everything. A work of art. Looks like a fantastic trip, in weather, scenery and museum choice!! Nicely done!
