Big props to Gunny for arranging special pricing during a vendor's busiest time of year! :clapping: :yahoo:

Not to mention after Christmas, so some of us can actually afford this stuff!

It's not for me, I'm not a puss. Well, maybe just a heated grip or two....

OK, looks like the vendor is getting quite a few requests for info on this. So far about 70 automated replies have gone out. I'm not sure what the status of purchases is.

This is the FirstGear heated gear. It is made by Warm & Safe but has some differences from the gear that you purchase directly from W&S.

102 requests for details have been received by the vendor. Keep 'em coming folks. It's cold out there. :)

Just a note on the gloves: The gloves sold directly by Warm & Safe do not have a waterproof barrier or insulation but the FirstGear branded gloves DO HAVE waterproofing and insulation (this has been confirmed by both FirstGear and Mike at W&S).

Those gloves look less bulky than my Gerbings...

Seem to have the same connector too... Hrm...

I think that I might have heard someplace (can't recall where) that the coax connectors are the same across brands of heated gear. Anyone?

I've ridden with the Carbon gloves and the 90w liner long enough now and in cold enough temps to add here that you can't go wrong with this gear.

My worst time so far is back around xmas -- going through the TN mountains, snow coming down, temps reading between 3C and 5C, then into a driving 1.5 hour rain @ 7C. Perfectly warm, gloves turned up about about 1/2way, vest about 3/4 up. Toasty.

Only a few more days left to take advantage of DCW's discount on FirstGear heated clothing and accessories.

If any of you were put off by the back-order status of the 65 watt liner your worries are over...they're shipping now. Get 'em while they're hot.
