This afternoon I replaced the CR8Es with CR8EKs. Here's what the CR8Es look like with 11K+ miles on them
Burning clean and averaging 43-45 mpg

The issue isn't so much about what they look like, but the internal resistance of the plug. Modern FI bikes do a very good job adjusting spark over a wide range, but its my understanding that resistance builds up in plugs and stresses the ignition system. If you bothered to take them out...isn't it worth putting in a new set?
