18th annual Ride to the Rock!!!! Saturday 11/23/2019

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls:
I am putting on the schedule the 18th annual 'Ride to the Rock'. The ride leaves from my humble abode in Lincoln RI at 9am and travels the backroads of southeastern MA to Plymouth MA to visit 'the Rock' in honor of our forefathers and Thanksgiving. The ride is usually held the Saturday after Thanksgiving each year BUT DATE CHANGED THIS YEAR TO THE SATURDAY BEFORE due to the late date of Thanksgiving (rain/snow date Sunday 11/24). The ride will go on regardless of how cold it is or how many attend-we have had as many as 29 bikes and as few as 3. We couldn't care less what you ride but we do require the noisy HDs to ride in the rear. Leave a PM here if you would like more info and directions to my house and hotels. DRESS WARM!! Coffee and donuts will be served before the ride at 7:30. KSU at 9am.

**NOTE**

The Mayflower II has been gone for awhile getting a face lift for the 400 year anniversary in 2020!!

Of course, I am interested, but I don't think it will happen this year either. 2021 for sure as I will be retired by then!

I’d like to make it again, but as usual I have a “family conflict” as that is the first day our favored Christmas Tree farm is open and generally they sell out either the first or second day.  They have excellent trees at reasonable prices.  If it gets pushed to Sunday due to inclement weather then I am in.

There may be a GPS route around somewhere. Generally we go to the waterfront in plymouth and now I believe there is a short detour to the forfathers statue.

I'm interested and last chance as we move back to the PNW next summer.  However, Mother Nature is making the decision regarding my ability to get out of the driveway.
