I'm sure many of us GB participants are willing to go to the end of the line.

I for one am in no hurry, they are still going to wait quite a while in my farkle box due to my move back to the US.

Might I suggest you design the order form on your GB page with a box we can check for "delayed delivery" or "Rush not required" instead of (fingers crossed :) ) 60-70 buyers posting "I can wait too"

Thanks again for your awesome farkles and setting this GB up.

Not to try to push my way to the front of the line or anything - I'm thinking that if a Canucklehead like me were able to install these lights at WFO, it would simplify the shipping and customs clearance at the border that they would otherwise have to undergo. What would be the chances Skyway?

Then again, I wonder if they're legal this side of the 49th...Transport Canada has some pretty silly restrictions sometimes, anyone know if they have any on this type of light on an on-road vehicle?

Skyway, are we likely to get the Fuegos and brackets in time to install and depart for WFO? I'm leaving the week before and sure would like to have more night vision.

Thanks!

A WFO install would be nice if it can be worked out.

At this point, I don't know what kind of stock levels BD's has on this light kit, but I will look into it. As for the WFO install, this would be easy. I could ship as many sets as needed out to Utah for anyone who would like to collect their stuff there. In advance, just get everything wired if you intend to use them on the way home. You will also need a small notch on panels B+C to allow for the +/- wires to enter the inner front fairings.

Skyway will not be doing wiring installations at WFO, but will assist with installations of lights and brackets.

Matt, the Soltek GB will go ahead as soon as the fuel cell kits are all mailed. From this point, I will begin placing orders with BD's as soon as the funds arrive. There is a possiblility that you will recieve them a week before WFO.

Thanks Skyway! If it looks like it's going to be close, maybe I'll just get mine in PC, just like them thar Canukians!

PayPal, MC or check at the ready!

Are we looking at including the lens covers with the GB?
Good question, I don't see why not.

The Delivery will be setup as follows. BD's will drop ship the lights out directly from thier facility within 24-48 hrs of the order being placed. The shipping rate will be at their cost with no markup. This keeps costs to a minimum.

They have also indicated that they can handle the expected quantites with no backlog.

For those who may be interested, the 160 degree wide angle HID light is being shipped out today for evaluation.

Lens covers will be offered as part of the GB, at a cost around $15 each. IIRC they retail for $20 each?
Can I get some red ones, so it looks light the world is on fire when I light it up? Ghost Rider!!!

Or are you talking about some cool nylon day covers, like the hydration kit's made from? If so, I'll take one red and one blue.

Covers are a nice touch -- I'll take a couple.

Happy to let the IBA guys have theirs first. Truth be told, I'm sure I could give Skooter some serious competition (and probably win) for longest time between farkle acquisition and install most of the time. How long have I had that high output stator from the first GB now? And that pales in comparison to how long I've had HIDs for the Blackbird that are still uninstalled.

I'm in for the group buy also.....

Hmm I think I'll let Toecutter Beta test the CHP's tolerance for "red and blue" covers... But, if it works for him....

My recollection (which is in dis-repair) is that all "off-road" non highway approved lights must be covered in CA. I do know individuals that have received citations from "picky" CHP officers for failure to comply while driving their 4X4 PU's on the public highways.

The lense covers from BD are (I believe) polycarbonate. I will verify this info for the GB.

I could also get some 1000 denier cordura covers sewn up as well.

Geeze, Just get the WiFi going up here in the Black Hills and now I'm spending money like I have it, Put me down too !!!!!! Gotta Have it !

44 (updated 7/12 4am PST) I will periodically update this list as I read the post.

In case you were not counting we are 7 away from ANOTHER $20? price break.

Let's see if we can hit at least 61! Heck if we can get to a 100 in this GB the lights should almost be free

Sounds like Dwavey may be on the fence. Since he didn't confirm in or not I have not counted him in my un-offical talley (but he sounds like he is real close to coming to the "Bright side"...). Can anyone help him out with his off road Canada light question?

P.S. The fence reference wasn't a Canada joke, do they even have a fence? (maybe they should) ok that was a joke...
