I just got off the Phone with Tom He was in Alabama headed for TN. Baggin Points.

He was hit by one of those nasty ass forest Rats in West Virginia. He says it nailed him right at the Skyway Hydration unit and bounced off. He did not go down or even get hurt. :yahoo: I will have a new cooler for his hydration unit for him because the deer did break his lid and in Toms words" left a bunch of deer snot on his bike"

So I guess now Ian can market the hydration systemn as deer protection!!

Anybody ever tried mounting one of those dear alarm/whistle thingy's or what ever they are called somewhere farkle-like to avoid that type of thing. It occurred to me the other morning on my way to work as a big ass Doe ran accross the highway a ways up in front of me. I would try it myself but the deer around here are probably stupid enough to come runnin out to see what that groovy noise is....besides I might never see another deer again while I was out riding , how would I know if it was working.

Or maybe we could get one of our farkle masters to fashion up a mount for a .50 cal or something cool like that. Packs alot of punch.

Most studies show that deer whistles don't make a difference, though some still use them. I, on the other hand, mounted an elephant whistle on my bike. I KNOW it works because I've never had any elephants run out in front of me yet.
