The topic says it all...

finally, Finally, FINALLY!

After work tonight I got the FJR out for the first time in 3 damn months.

Short ride - only 10 miles, but I didn't want to be on the road after dark due to the crater-sized potholes that are creeping around in the shadowy places.

Damn it felt good to ride again.

The end.

No sympathy here. Put mine away in October, went to get it out from where it's stored but thought better of getting it across the 12 foot sheet of ice to the clear lane of the street. Got into the 40's so I was hopeful this week, but now snowing again...

I feel ya! I was thrilled when we had a warm day and could ride to that night's hockey game. I was even more thrilled today for the first two-wheel commute to work of the year occurred!

Ahh quit your whining.

I haven't ridden in 1 day now!

Geesh, I'm going stir crazy not being on my beloved FJR.

...and I had to cage it again today!

Man oh man, it's a good thing I'm tough as nails, this no riding thing can break weaker men...

Sure, sure, rub it in that I can't ride cause it's wet today..

You sure have a mean streak GeekBoy!

:fuck:

Finally, a Geek report that doesn't lock up my computer.

I was sure there was going to be a photo of the world's biggest ball of twine, or huge snowman or something...atleast a photo of geek drinking beer with his maniacal grin... :D

My FJR just emerged from hibernation this morning. I spent about 2 hours last night with a shovel carving a path through the ice on my driveway so I could get to the street. It was worth the effort, because the commute to work this morning was so much more enjoyable than driving the car! I suspect it will be short-lived though. Looks like stuff will start freezing and getting covered in white stuff again on Sunday ("light wintry mix", then snow showers on Monday with a high of 31°).

And today was the second commute of the year. Took el Bandido today, since it's not fair to let the first wife sit and while you're riding the second wife every morning.

I remember that. The good thing with Don is you don't have to wait long for your turnb at Dolly.... a little quick on the trigger, if ya know what I mean...
And note Petey in the background, readying his roundhouse kick to the head for anyone who deserves it.
