I just got my wife that exact same jacket and color. Shes worn is 2x and the second button from the bottom broke on the nonflap side. I went to walmart and got a button and replaced it. Overall we love the jacket just wish that button wouldnt of popped out.

+1 I believe they also want you to baby the bikes so nothing breaks early. Then if you ride them hard 1-2 years later after babying them for a long time more stuff breaks out of warranty. My .02

I know Motoport has some Kevlar racing gloves for 129 bucks. The nice part is you trace your hand and follow there directions so im pretty sure they will be a perfect custom fit might try them.
