Great bike for this great road.

Just try to get a new fork for a 2014.  Yamaha cannot get them anymore, so have to replace with another year.  Took almost 3 months to get that figured out.

I have had mine for only 3 months, and it is my daily driver. 20 miles to work one way on Interstate I-25 can be a pain, but wind, rain or sun, the FJR handles it all with ease. I can ride down to 45 degrees and not be freezing too much.

Thanks all, I did get the Ram Mount for my Birthday and so far it seems to hold well. I had no idea what that rubber tether thing was for until I pulled up the link on RBEmerson's post. That seems that it would help to hold it in case it decided to come loose. Thanks for everyone's replies.

Nope, never have done that. Hopefully will think about that now every time I get gas. Worse I have done is to put Premium in on accident.

I like the OEM for summer. Took off the V stream, which I believe is a medium. I will put it back on for winter riding, as long as the snow is not flying.
