Is there a good way to attach a tender so that you don;t have to continually remove the cowl piece?

Thanks guys. Is there a preferred replacement or just get one from the dealer. I haven't had to do anything to this bike accept get the oil changed. I shouldn't admit this but imagine my surprise when I popped the seat and the battery wasn't there...

I've had my 2008 FJR since new, haven't ridden it in about a month, went to start it this morning and the battery was low and wouldn't start. I removed it and I'm charging it. How long do these batteries generally last? Thanks.

After 7K on the stock tires it was time to get some new ones. After listening to recommendations from others on this forum I chose the Pilot Road 2 CT. I got the front for $127 and the rear for $163, installed out the door was $407 from Thousand Oaks Yamaha. Don't know if that's a good deal...

I've had my FJR almost a year and now have a little over 4600 miles on it. I'm taking it in for the ignition switch recall and 4K service and would like to hear what you think about the following: Approximately how much does the 4K service cost? How much can you get the YES for?
