I’m looking at the documents on my iPad as I follow along, and have never ridden a competitive rally BUT, I have found it easier to be able to refer to the table while reading through the various bonii, to see how I would string together a feasibly max points ride.

I'm wondering if the rider showing in Vegas is on his way to Cabazon? They have the T-Rex from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure there, and the excessive heat warnings have finally been lifted here, so while still hot, it's much better than it was for the last week and a half...

I found a place for my bell before I even left cemetery...I think Tyler took a picture of it as I was leaving the wake. It still doesn't feel real that Don is gone. When you have a personality that is so much larger than life, the sudden absence is like a black hole.

If you have an opportunity to go see a MotoGP race, do it! I was in Barcelona a few years back for a work trip, the same weekend as the Catalunya race. I just wasn't able to make it work with my schedule, and have been kicking myself ever since!

From the first ride with Naomi...I was fortunate to know and ride with Don. Seeing the title of this thread didn't register as real.

I had both an 04 and 08 FJR, and still have my 12 ST. Far and away for me, the ST is the more comfortable of the two bikes. I do occasionally miss the turbine pull of the inline 4, but there is more than enough grunt to get to extra-legal speeds quickly on the ST.

tl:dr - this is on my short list! I am a life-long duner; I made my first trip when I was 3 years old. Back then, it was all about home built dune buggies (except for a few manufacturers like Bruce Meyers and his Manx), and the Honda ATC had just been introduced. During the economic boom...

I got my GT Air at Cycle Gear, and they swapped the cheek pads there for the thinner ones for me. Far and away my favorite helmet.

You and me both! My wife told me she is ready to go back to the dunes with me (Glamis in this case), but doesn't want another sand rail, since they are "money pits" (her words). Plus, here in AZ, there are plenty of places we can go exploring with this, and I can get it plated for the street!
