I knew Bob, he worked around the corner from me when he lived in the Akron OH area. He had to keep fuel receipts in that rally. He said that was the worse part of the ride to Deadhorse, then to Alabama. He had to keep track of 33 (maybe he said 36) fuel receipts. No GPS for navigation...
