Anyone doing suspension maintenance? My FJR has been sold (sadly) and I have the following suspension tune-up parts available:

This is a 26mm (12pt) socket welded onto pipe. The other end has a hole which screw driver or other rod may be placed.
I used this to service the folks on my '07 FJR and it worked without issues.
Sadly, the FJR is now gone and rather than chuck tool in landfill I'd like to pass it on.
Manual has been sold!
Bike is gone , selling manual.
Has a few grease spots and some handwritten notes for common tasks like torque for oil and final drive plugs. Manual is complete, no missing pages, all wiring diagrams.
$40 and will cover shipping in CONUS.
Ha! No wonder Harley riders feel safe riding with only a beenie helmet and a leather vest, their bike has them covered. Always wondered what that aura was that appears around them, I just thought it was the glare from the chrome.
Which is why I think it's risky to increase tire pressure for something as trivial as trying to squeeze a few more miles out of a tire. You may only need that extra contact patch once, but when you do you will be glad you had it.
And that gave you an ingrain toenail didn't it?
The flip-up comment is interesting. From Snell's helmetfaq:
When Snell says they haven't had the opportunity to test flip-up helmets, I wonder if the mfgs know the flip-up design won't pass and therefore don't submit them to Snell.
The interesting thing about the "upgraded" Snell certifications is the helmets are actually "softer". The criticism against the early Snell certification was it was designed to protect against multiple impacts that most riders wouldn't survive anyway.
What frustrates me as a buyer is lack of...
From the article:
Deeply ingrained? Speaking only for myself I never thought so. And looking at the price vs safety rating doesn't give me the impression of a strong correlation between price and safety.
I wonder how many folks buy a poor fitting expensive helmet thinking it's safer than a...
What car and engine was that? Guessing it wasn't the typical >3.0L 5 passenger car sold in the US.
Even considering the higher miles/gallon, diesel emissions are considerably worse than gasoline.
It's essentially the same as a conveyor belt as the front and rear rollers are connected by a belt.
Bike's wheels are not stationary? Well if they were it would just be a parked bike.
