    OEM 2010 Silver rear rack

I sold my 2010 FJR and left my GIVI trunk rack on the bike. That leaves me with the original OEM rear rack and bolts in my garage. Does somebody want this? Perhaps you banged yours up and want to replace it? This one is the 2010 silver color. John ([email protected])

    gps maps and mac computers

I have used Mapsource on a Mac-with bootcamp for many years. Using bootcamp or parallel program that emulates a pc program on the Mac is sadly the best option as there is no great alternative that runs natively on the mac.

    That feared time has come

You've all heard the expression- "its not IF but when." Well my when happened yesterday. Actually it is a worse when- my wife low sided her Kawi ER6N on a relaxing sunday morning ride. There is nothing worse than seeing your spouse in a ditch! Luckily we always wear full protective gear from...

How aggressive can I get with saddlebags?

You can drive very aggressively- just be mindful of the weight and balance the weight between the two bags- but you will never hit the bags leaning on a corner unless you low side the bike! Where the bags get bashed up is hitting them on stuff when you don't realize how wide your bike is- like...

My wife's contemplating becoming a rider!

My wife also learned to ride in May of last year. Her first bike was a Ninja 250- best thing I ever did. This bike was just the right size for her to learn on and allowed her to quickly gain confidence and skill. After about 6 months, she stepped up to a "naked 650 ninja" ER6N. This bike allows...

Little gash in rear tire. Fixable?

New tire = $150 Blow out in a curve or highway = hospital bills, maybe severe injury never mind damage possibly to the bike. Also, if this does start leaking air- there is no way to patch a gash like you can a nail hole. So will have to tow it- so if this happens anywhere father than 50 miles...

    Another Front tire wear picture

We've already established that tire wear is dependent on road surface, road temp, and obviously how aggressive you are with the throttle/brakes. I am in Austin Texas, ride all year long, and ride in extreme heat. My short rides are about 200 miles and I don't ride like I'm on a scooter. While...

Great Ride in Arizona High Country

Skooter, Very sorry to hear of your accident- was right in the area on AZ 191 in the Apache forest about the same time you were in the area my trip post. Thanks for posting the pics and describing what happened to you. Is certainly a learning experience for us all and reminds us that even with...
