I'm just a few minutes from the VZ Bridge. Worked in Brooklyn for awhile years ago. Traffic was horrendous but commuting on the bike made it somewhat tolerable. ๐Ÿ˜„

What did you do to your FJR today?

Actually yesterday but I took it for the annual inspection sticker (a NY requirement) used to always have it done at shop owned by a guy I knew since high school but he recently passed away and now the shop is closed. Went to another place I knew about, they were out of stickers but recommended...

29" inseam here, 7/8s Kouba links, Corbin seat, slipped the front forks 1/2" gets me lower to the ground. Much more comfortable at stops and slow mo stuff. YMMV. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    New 2005 FJR1300 ABS Owner

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new ride. Enjoy!๐Ÿ˜‰ My preference as far as windshield is Rifle. As far as mirrors some switch to FZ1 mirrors. I've mounted mine on extenders but no problem just replacing what you have. Just my 2cents. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

    Front End Removed

11 thousand miles is nothing on these bikes. I would just go over it make sure it had proper maintenance, make any required adjustments before I would change anything. Ride it,live with it, get to know it first then decide what she really needs. Just my 2cents. ๐Ÿ˜‰
