    Yo! Alabama riders!

Oak Mtn State Park, SE of Birmingham. Is that a decent riding area? I may be in that area 3/4-5 and in the process of scoping out a backroad route from Peachtree City, GA to Vestavia Hills I noticed that state park. Hopefully, my ride will include the Cheaha area if I have time.

    Pirelli Jackpot!

So, a little while ago I was looking at new tires for my 05 FJR on Amazon. I spied a set the Pirelli Angel ST's for $235 and went all the way to check out to see what the final cost would be after taxes. New to the forum

Fairly LOW km's? No kidding. That's less than 30,000 miles for a bike that's 18-19-20 years old. A month ago I bought for $3600 an '05 that had less than 30,000 miles on it. Depending on what year it actually started accumulating miles that's approx 1800 miles PER YEAR or 150 miles PER...

What's the Weather like where YOU are today?

Today it's 63 and cloudy south of ATL. The forecast calls for rain much of the week, so that's why I rode the beast back to work after lunch and I get to ride it home after work.....all of about 8 minutes worth. It's days like this that I wish I lived farther away from work.

    Newbie here from GA

I’m planning on altering my riding style with the FJR in order to get the tires to last longer than usual. I used to ride an FZ1 pretty hard and the rears were usually gone at 4000-4200 miles, edge to edge.

    Newbie here from GA

FJR newbie here, from GA. I've been off the street for about 12 years. Last street bike was an FZ1, comfortable and fast. Right before Christmas I got my hands on an '05 FJR with less than 30,000 miles on it. I look forward to the give and take here and sharing of all things FJR-ish. I'm...
