I had the same problem om my 2004 with the Corban seat.I removed the bracket off the seat & installed washersbetween the bracket & seat.That will fix the problem.

Dex-Cool is not the same as what was in the cooling system when the bike was new.Dex-cool is a different compound then the green anti freeze.They should not be mixed.Dex-cool in orange in colour. Keep the green anti freeze.

Piaa bulbs work get in my 2008 FJR1300. They make a intense white h4 bulb.

My 2008 has had lots of front end noise>Front rotors were loose at the rivets/front disc pads would rattle.I fixed both & its alot better now.

Make sure the brake reservoir is not overfilled.If the fluid expands when hot it can apply the brakes. Friend of mine had a problem with his BMW clutch slipping when hot.The clutch fluid was over filled<when it got hot it would start to apply the clutch.
