    Alpine Loop Colors 10/4

Terrific photos! That is a great ride, I've done it often though not this fall. I just returned from a Utah-Colorado 3 day ride that was spectacular! Started in PC, then over Wolf Creek Pass to Duchesne, then on US 191 to the I70 intersection. Then down I70 to Grand Junction. After Grand...

    WFO-6 Curtain Closes

Right now it is 73 degrees at my house in Park City, raining cats and dogs. The precip is welcome, its been very dry here in Utah so far this summer. However, I hope the rain abates for tomorrow and thereafter until at least next week. See you soon. :clapping:

    WFO Local Support

This is the same promise I made to myself (and to my wife) when I bought my FJR and started riding again last year. I'm perhaps a bit too cautious, but better safe than sorry!

    On My Way

Well, I'm already here(I live here) so I can get together on Wednesday evening or anytime Thursday if you wish. I look forward to meeting all the boys and girls who will be here. Kent Winterholler 2006 FJR1300A

    Review on Group Riding

Thanks for the thread, the information and the references. I ride mostly alone so being able to review the information contained in the references you included is very helpful. I'll read them once again before I ride at WFO6.

    WFO Room opening!

Geez! I have to add my best wishes after that disaster which could have been much, much worse. I'm sorry about the bike, about your injuries, and quite happy you have not suffered any more serious injuries. As for the young woman, I'd be willing to bet she didn't see you because of her...

    Special Attendee Announcement

Yes, the Blind Dog just down the street on Sidewinder from the Marriott is fairly good. However the best sushi I've ever eaten anywhere from the east to the west coast and some places in between is in Salt Lake. It's called Takashi's and it was recently named the best restaurant in Utah by...

    Utah fire

It's closed south of Nephi. You shouldn't have any problems about using I15 between Nephi and Provo Canyon. Sounds as if you plan to take Provo canyon to Heber, then US40 to Park City.

To WFO from Denver area, leaving 7-25-07

As a matter of fact it is paved all the way. I have a road map which also shows SR35 as having an unpaved portion. I don't know why the maps haven't yet caught up to reality.

To WFO from Denver area, leaving 7-25-07

I'm from Park City and will be at WFO event when you all arrive(won't be staying at the Marriott as I live in a house here). When you get on US 40 in Utah you will drive through Duchesne. State road 87 intersects US 40 in Duchesne. Take SR87 (north) until it intersects State Road 35, then...
