Timely use for Rear Brake Rotor

Looks great! Next rotor replacement, you need to make a thermometer!

    Batteryplus experience + or -?

I was planning on replacing my battery this year, simply because it is the original (07) ... it works the same as it always has, and I have always used a tender for each winter storage ... but this topic is like tires ... just doesn't seem to be a consensus.

    Side bag lock set

Thanks ... I will look into that this weekend.

    Side bag lock set

Unlocked the side bag after coming back from work, and the lock set fell off the bag ... cylinder still hanging from the key. I found one of the small screws that go into the bottom of the cylinder, the other is MIA. I hate to purchase an entire new lock set because I need one of these special...

Tell me I did the right thing?

You did the right thing. Convoluted financial arrangements can spell disaster in so ... so many ways.

    Skully AR-1

The rear camera is "ultra wide angle" ... not sure what that means, maybe like a fish-eye lens? ... which would not help all that much at any distance.

    Riding the Electric Harley

The "Zero Electric Motorcycle" boast a city range of over 170 miles a highway range of over 100 and a combined range of around 130 miles ... so I guess they are improving slowly. https://www.zeromotorcycles.com/zero-s/specs.php

Features to Look for in your Next Jacket

Nice article. I sent it to a buddy that was just talking about jackets the other day.

    Was I Spider Bit?

Have to agree with Fred. I had that exact problem on my 07 a few years ago, and found out I had a bad relay on my aftermarket horns ... the problem didn't show up every time I hit the horn ... just once in a while after hitting the horn. It took a little while to figure out, and I changed the...

    Close call... again

Glad to hear your close call turned out OK ... how long was it before your heart-rate returned to normal?

    Is this the next helmet?

Gary, Straight forward idea that seems doable and would be a money maker. I purchased a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones for my wife last year, and was surprised at how well they worked at noise canceling (particularly at a fixed frequency) and how good they sounded when playing music...

    Is this the next helmet?

Good points, I agree with both. Having technology that you can adjust ... pick and choose when and how to use it, could be more useful, and in some ways better. A continuous flood of information ... does it make you a better rider? More safe? ... or remove something from the experience of riding...

    Is this the next helmet?

Curious what forum members think about this jump in technology. https://www.gizmag.com/skully-augmented-reality-helmet-motorcycle/30352/pictures#7

    Oil Drain Bolt Gasket

I used a copper washer for the first time last oil change (no issues / works great) ... I usually stock up on the crush washers from the dealer and have always used them, but they never seem to keep them in stock,. Copper washers are available from any auto parts store, and work fine. I believe...

    2007 Tail light fuse

You could disconnect the tail lights by unplugging them where they connect to the wiring harness ... the connector is visible when you change the air filter, just back from that area anyway ... pretty easy to follow the wires to the plastic connector. Then you would only be disabling the taillights.
