Did the Road to the Sun a month and a half ago (it was my get acquainted trip with my FJR that I picked up the night before!) . We rode westwards from St Mary's. The ride to the pass was lovely. The ride down from the pass towards Kalispell was scenic but dead slow. I actually turned the engine...

1000km ride this weekend to familiarize myself with the FJR. We had 2 FJRs, a Honda Varadero, a Kawasaki Z1000, and a Yamaha Stryker. I had been concerned with the comfort & well-being of the latter 2 but there were no complaints. Whatever floats your boat.

My '84 FJ has them. I'm going to have learn how to turn them off.

Watch your speed entering and leaving Calgary city limits. There are often photo radar traps set up where the speed limit changes.
