    05 fork seal replacement

This procedure works great. I used a shop press at my friends garage to compress it after filling it with oil and the seal popped right out. I just wanted to change the seals for now and this method saved a lot of money. When/if they start leaking again, I'll do a complete overhaul. Thanks...

    inquiring FJR

I'm new to the FJR and this type of riding. After riding cruisers forever and a 96ci lead sled for the last few years, the FJR feels like a bicycle with a rocket engine on it. I'm amazed at how it is so much faster, lighter, manueverable, quieter, fuel efficient and just so much fun to ride...

    Towing with the FJR

THanks so much for the info on hitches and trailers. I figurted there had to be people towing but I couldn't find a thread on it. I think I'll start out with the dauntless motors hitch and a harbor freight trailer to haul my stuff for now and move up to a camper when I find a good deal on one...

    Towing with the FJR

Holy moly! That's a nice setup! I'll definitely look at those. I was wanting to pull a camper but wasn't sure if the fjr was capable. You sure have a handle on it! Where did you get your hitch?

Route from DFW to Greenville SC suggestions?

Oh yeah! That's the route I take when I go to Knoxville and it's a nice ride. If you're not in a hurry and haven't done it, get on the Natchez Trace just before Jackson MS and take it to hwy 64 and take it to Chattanooga. You'll loose an hour or so but it's a really nice ride up the parkway...

Anyone up for a ride saturday or sunday

I'll be riding with a group from Abilene to Cooper's in Llano. Haven't decided where to go from there. Maybe ride the sisters and stay overnight somewhere around Leakey.

    Yet Another Audiovox Question

I suppose I should have ran the ground to the battery, it's not too far from the controller. I'm just glad it's working and thankful for the help. I think I'm going to like this forum.

    Yet Another Audiovox Question

Thanks, JR! You know it's amazing how we check everything and know it can't be anything obvious and sure enough it is. My ground for the controller wasn't making contact. I scraped the paint off under the bracket put the ground wire back on and the control lights came on and everything works...

    Yet Another Audiovox Question

I just finished installing the cruise control and it's not working. When I turn it on the LED on the control doesn't light up. I checked the wiring using the installation manual and everything seems to be correct. Wiring checks on the servo: #9 - black - ground #3 - Red - has 12v always from...

Well I tried deleting my post about my cruise not working and couldn't figure out how.
