I'm wearing my same old riding boots. Snowing here today. I adjusted the shift lever all the way to upper line. As soon as I ride it again I'll post results. This thing shifts like it just rolled out of a cave compared to my Bonneville. If it persists I'll take it to the shop and let them try...

I have 1000 miles on my 2018 es and the shifting is driving me crazy. It was much better before the first service. Sometimes I cant downshift and some times I cant up shift. I can up shift every time I think about it and really push it in. There are no unusual sounds other than the normal clunking.

It has just had it's first service and on the ride home I did not notice anything unusual. But when I took it out today it seems like I had an issue at least 10 times. Sometimes the gear indicator is just blank.

I keep hitting dead spots( won't go into next gear) up shifting and down shifting. Sometimes I have to double clutch to get it to go to the next gear. Anybody have any similar issues?

I almost did it the other day. I pulled the diesel nozzle and kept pushing the regular gas button and nothing would happened . That is when a realized how close I came to doing something lunkheaded. I wish they wouldn't put the diesel and the gas on the same pump.

I just took a short ride on mine. 42 degrees here in Ohio and I was very comfortable thanks to the heated grips and cold weather gear. It was a nice ride.

Glad I bought the 18 es, Saved a bunch of money.

I got mine on the same day as you. Same model and when I rode it home I did nothing but smile. Congrats!!
