I have a 2014 fjr and need to replace the top clamp. Do the ignition bolts have some type of cap on them that has to be pried off?

Agreed. I would definitely try the Grip Puppies (about $20) before going to different grips. They do mute the heat a bit but I still got enough to keep my hands warm.

I live in Iowa, so winter is upon us here. I won't be doing any riding until spring because I won't ride until we get a good rain to wash the salt off the roads. Once that happens, it's time to get that odometer rolling!
